My soul swims through the currents 

The majestic lake sparkles amongst the sun 

Inner peace is met within 

Tranquility is a new feeling in that emerald, green water. 

As I lap around the lake 

I am met with more currents 

This does not stop my inner journey 

For peace brings power  

Like a lightning bolt on a rainy day 

My strength takes over 

The past no longer serving me, 

The present and future is my new home. 

Life is beautiful once again.
