Poetry to Make you Laugh

MY CAT LINK AND HIS YELLOW CHAIR

There once was a love affair

Between a cat and his yellow chair,

This love was one-sided

His heart was misguided,

As the chair was quite unaware.

BUTTER

My heart did aflutter,

As my fork picked up the butter.

The walls did constrict,

As the doctor did predict.

The waves did not slack,

As the flow gave me a heart attack.

THE FATTENING (THANKSGIVING)

Fill your sodden gob with grub,

This day you will become a ball of blub,

The time of the fattening,

An observance of belts loosening,

Do you reckon your gut will regret this, bub?
